Dr. Fleischhauer is currently a board certified general surgeon and was an active staff surgeon at Harrison Medical Center (now known as St, Michael Medical Center) for 33 years. He has extensive experience in trauma surgery, abdominal surgeries including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, bowel resections, ventral hernia repair (with and without mesh), laparoscopic and robotic surgery as well as colonoscopy. He then worked in wound care at St. Michael Medical Center Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine and was the Medical Director during that time. He has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating burns, diabetic foot ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers, decubitus ulcers (bed sores), and hyperbaric oxygen treatments. He is board certified by the American Board of Wound Management (CWSP) and obtained that in May 2023. His goal is to provide careful, well researched, objective reports and is prepared for deposition and trial if needed.
