I am a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon in private practice since 2006. My practice is limited to colon and rectal surgery. I have extensive expertise in proctology and anorectal surgery, including hemorrhoidal disease, fecal incontinence, and have a busy colonoscopy practice. I have additional expertise in the field of inherited cancers, particularly inherited colon and rectal cancers. Genetic testing is an integral part of my practice and while that is mainly gastrointestinal cancers, I have experience with the genetics of many other inherited cancer syndromes, including breast, ovarian, and uterine cancer syndromes. I have spent many years on the board of a major non-profit organization dedicated to educating people on Lynch Syndrome and inherited cancer syndromes.
