Dual board certified general and colorectal surgeon in the Houston area. Extensive experience in academic surgery (OH, NY and TX), resident and medical student education and serving low income/under resourced communities. Now part time academics and full time owner of solo surgical practice. I take care of patients with disorders of the gallbladder, small bowel, appendix, benign skin and soft tissue, colon, rectum and anus. I am certified in robotic surgery and perform colonoscopy as part of my practice. I have also served at Vice Chair of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for the surgical department at UT Health Houston.
