Additional Information

Dr. Aimee Gough is board-certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery as well as General Surgery and has been in independent practice for over five years. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, a clinical instructor at the University of Washington School of Medicine, and an ATLS instructor. She maintains a busy private practice where she practices both colorectal surgery and general surgery (including trauma) - with a focus on minimally invasive surgical care (robotic and laparoscopic) for diseases of the colon and rectum. She also cares for patients with anorectal and pelvic floor disorders. As the only board-certified colon and rectal surgeon in her state, she routinely sees complex patients, inherits and manages complication, and undertakes re-do operations. With experience in medical education and public speaking, Dr. Gough communicates effectively and excels at conveying complicated medical topics in a clear and coherent fashion.
