Dr. Ilan Mizrahi is a Harvard-trained, double board-certified, anesthesiologist and critical-care intensivist who works at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Mizrahi earned his undergraduate degree in neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University. He attended medical school at Boston University School of Medicine where he graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. He completed his anesthesiology residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and critical care fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He was recruited to work as faculty at Massachusetts General Hospital to provide anesthesia for various surgeries, and critical care in the surgical ICU. Since 2019 he has been the director of Quality Improvement in the Surgical ICU, and has reviewed over a hundred patient mortalities and numerous morbidities/safety-events.
