0Additional Information
Board-certified anesthesiologist with more than 13 years of attending physician experience in both academic and private practice settings. My clinical practice includes general anesthesiology, regional anesthesia, obstetric anesthesia, ambulatory surgery, and comprehensive perioperative medicine. I currently practice in a high-volume community and ambulatory setting while maintaining broad experience caring for medically complex adult surgical patients across multiple specialties. Prior to entering private practice, I served as academic faculty in anesthesiology, where I was actively involved in resident and medical student education, simulation-based training, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives. I directed an American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) MOCA® simulation program, developed simulation curricula, and instructed physicians in crisis resource management, perioperative decision-making, airway management, regional anesthesia, and management of anesthetic complications. My expertise includes standards of care involving preoperative evaluation, informed consent, intraoperative management, airway management, neuraxial anesthesia, peripheral nerve blocks, ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, perioperative monitoring, medication management, postoperative complications, ambulatory anesthesia, obstetric anesthesia, and patient safety. I have extensive experience evaluating complex perioperative events and applying evidence-based anesthetic principles to clinical decision-making. I provide objective, thorough, and independent medical record review and expert analysis for plaintiff and defense counsel. My opinions are based on current evidence, accepted anesthesiology practice standards, clinical experience, and a careful review of the medical record. I am committed to producing clear, well-reasoned, and timely analyses that assist attorneys in understanding complex anesthetic and perioperative issues.
