His expertise is heavily centered in clinical nutrition care, medical nutrition therapy, health care systems, food service operations, and standards of care in dietetic practice. He served as a clinical dietitian from 2007–2009 and currently serves as the Acting Chief Clinical Dietitian for the BOP, overseeing and advising on complex clinical nutrition matters across the federal correctional system. Since 2013, he has also served as Chief of Nutrition and Dietetics for the BOP.
