I am a Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine and a Board Certified and practitioner of emergency physician at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven CT where I have practiced for the last 20+ years. I completed my medical degree at the University of Virginia, my residency in emergency medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte NC, and an emergency ultrasound fellowship at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago IL. I am Chief of the Section of Emergency Ultrasound in the Yale Department of Emergency Medicine. My research interests include ultrasound imaging, diagnosis, pulmonary embolism, aortic dissection, kidney stones, CT imaging, and incidental findings. My clinical practice includes the main YNHH hospital as well as the Saint Raphael's Emergency Department and the freestanding Shoreline Medical Center in Guilford CT.
