Professor Backof’s research has been published in top accounting journals including The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, and Accounting, Organizations and Society. Her research projects have received prestigious grants from the Center for Audit Quality (CAQ), the Assurance Research Advisory Group (ARAG) and the PwC INQuires Research Grant program.
