I am a full-time, board certified surgeon with a fellowship in bariatric surgery, specializing in complex bariatric cases. I have performed over 3500 bariatric operations including intragastric balloons, as well as many, many other related procedures. I also spend a considerable amount of time teaching, and am an associate professor of surgery at our regional medical school as well as serve as the Director of Medical Education for our hospital's medical student teaching program. I have reviewed over 30 cases in the last decade, have issued written reports, given numerous depositions, and testified in court as an expert witness. Dr. Neidich attended medical school at the University of California, San Francisco and obtained his advanced GI/MIS/Bariatrics Fellowship at the Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. He has expertise in full spectrum wound care and maintains an active wound care practice at the El Camino Wound Care Center. He has experience reviewing a wide range of cases including facility acquired pressure injuries, wound management and post-acute care infection and wound protocols and best practices. He has a comprehensive bariatric surgery practice, including robotic gastric sleeve, bypass, revisions and band removal. Additionally, his practice incorporates robotic hernia, foregut and general surgery procedures.

Dr. Owens is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Owens is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and Medical Board of California. He specializes in bariatric and general/abdominal surgery for people suffering from morbid obesity. Dr. Owens is currently Medical Director of Bariatrics at Chapman Global Medical Center, and Coastal Center for Obesity and is Chief of Surgery Chapman Global Medical Center. He is a current or past member of various professional societies. Dr. Owens has an extensive list of Academic Appointments ranging from 1974 to present. Dr. Larson is a board certified general surgeon with an active clinical practice in south Florida since 2004. Michael Barker, MD, FACS, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified general surgeon who specializes in Bariatric and Laparoscopic Surgery. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and SUNY Brooklyn College of Medicine, and also completed a Fellowship in Bariatric & Minimally Invasive Surgery at East Carolina University.
