Dr. Conlan has extensive experience as an expert witness since 2004. As CEO of Florida Wound Care Doctors, Central Florida’s only medical practice concentrating exclusively on wound care, Dr. Conlan is inspired to help his patients overcome even the most severe types of wounds. He established his Central Florida practice in 1996. In 2001, he became a Certified Wound Care Specialist allowing him to practice wound care & hyperbaric medicine on a full-time basis. Since that time, Dr. Conlan has spoken at numerous wound symposiums, grand rounds, and rehabilitation facilities. During his professional career, he has provided wound care to patients in acute care, long-term acute care, skilled nursing, and hospital-based wound care centers. Last year Dr. Conlan was elected as President of The American Board of Wound Management. As a certified wound specialist, Dr. Conlan routinely manages patients with lower extremity wounds.
