Dr. Neidich attended medical school at the University of California, San Francisco and obtained his advanced GI/MIS/Bariatrics Fellowship at the Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. He has expertise in full spectrum wound care and maintains an active wound care practice at the El Camino Wound Care Center. He has experience reviewing a wide range of cases including facility acquired pressure injuries, wound management and post-acute care infection and wound protocols and best practices. He has a comprehensive bariatric surgery practice, including robotic gastric sleeve, bypass, revisions and band removal. Additionally, his practice incorporates robotic hernia, foregut and general surgery procedures.

Dr. Samakar is a board certified General Surgeon, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons as well as the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He completed a Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery Fellowship at Harvard Medical School where he was also a clinical instructor of surgery. He is currently a faculty member of the University of Southern California (USC) Keck School of Medicine where he serves as a full-time surgeon & Associate Professor, researcher, and educator. Dr. Samakar is the Director of the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery program at USC Keck Medical Center. Michael Barker, MD, FACS, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified general surgeon who specializes in Bariatric and Laparoscopic Surgery. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and SUNY Brooklyn College of Medicine, and also completed a Fellowship in Bariatric & Minimally Invasive Surgery at East Carolina University.
