After residency, Dr. Matthews underwent additional fellowship training in arthroscopy and sports medicine in San Diego, California. As a fellow, he was fortunate to work with athletes at the professional, collegiate, and high school levels. In his nearly 10 years in practice, he has gained extensive experience in the minimally invasive treatment of sports and work-related shoulder and knee injuries.
