Additional Information

Board Certified Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Surgeon with 20 years of post-training experience in Academic and Private Practice. I have performed numerous independent medical legal evaluations in Canada, and have served as an expert witness on cases involving musculoskeletal injuries as well as orthopedic oncology. I am board certified in the United States with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and in Canada as a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. I am the owner and founder of DFW Orthopedics, a busy and growing private practice in the Dallas Fort Worth complex. I have 12 years of Academic experience in Canada at the University of Toronto and McMaster University with over 100 publications and rank of Associate Professor. I was recruited to Texas due to my expertise in Orthopedic Oncology and management of patience with complex hip and knee reconstruction complications. Majority of my referrals are from other orthopedic surgeons seeking my expertise with complex cases. I routinely treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries during Orthopedic Call coverage at two busy facilities with management of conditions including fractures, sprains, as well as major traumatic injuries. I often treat complications of hip and knee replacements performed by other surgeons, including periprosthetic infections, fractures, and persistent pain, stiffness, instability, dislocation, and other complications following hip and knee replacements. I am fellowship-trained in orthopedic oncology, and routinely treat patients with bone and soft tissue cancers, including metastatic bone disease, pathologic fractures, soft tissue sarcoma, bones sarcomas such as Osteosarcoma, Ewing’s Sarcoma, Chondrosarcoma and other Orthopedic Oncology conditions. I have extensive experience with personal injury, Musculoskeletal and motor vehicle collision independent medical evaluations, as well as direct treatment and management of patients with mulitple injuries. I have served as an expert witness, and have testified in court as an expert twice, once in Canada and once in the United States. I have given two depositions and have other upcoming depositions scheduled.
