Mike served 10 years with FEMA (then FEMA/DHS till 2004). He worked in critical infrastructure, safety, health and security. Fagel was deployed to the Oklahoma City Bombing in 1995, and deployed to the World Trade Center Attacks in 2001 for the US Department of Justice. He was an SME for the US Army at SBCCOM in Aberdeen,MD. Over 40 years in all phases of public safety, state law enforcement, fire and rescue service, as well as emergency medical services & emergency management. He also spent several years with the National Guard Bureau’s CERIAC Intelligence Center Operations, as team lead. He had various overseas deployments in the middle east working with US allies in developing national doctrine in the development for emergency planning and response operations.
