I currently serve as the Vice Chair for Surgical Quality, Patient Safety and Performance Improvement for the Department of Surgery. Over the years, I have served as Chief of Trauma and Surgical Critical Care (and Trauma Program Medical Director) at two different Trauma Centers. I have significant clinical and administrative leadership experience and have lead numerous peer and quality group review committees and group case reviews. I have significant experience in reviewing and evaluating surgical cases for complications, errors, appropriate management and care as well as serving as an expert witness in numerous medical-legal cases.
