He then went to the California College of Podiatric Medicine for his 4 year medical schooling. He performed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh (Southside Hospital) program for 3 years which is considered one of the finest foot and ankle training programs in the country. Dr Baravarian then completed a prestigious AO/ASIF trauma, reconstructive surgery and revision surgery fellowship in Dresden, Germany prior to joining the UCLA for the start of his career.
