Peter J. Conley is an intellectual property valuation, patent monetization, licensing, M&A, and technology commercialization expert with approximately 38 years of experience in IP-related investment banking, institutional patent research, equity capital markets, corporate finance, and strategic advisory. He has testified on intellectual property matters before the Delaware Court of Chancery and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Mr. Conley assists counsel with patent and platform-IP valuation; relief-from-royalty and income analyses; royalty benchmarking; IP collateral and bankruptcy estate-value analysis; M&A and asset-sale process review; patent portfolio analytics; valuation-oriented claim-to-product mapping; forward-citation and competitive patent analysis; strategic buyer and licensee identification; licensing economics; and commercialization strategy. He is Co-Owner and Managing Partner of Prestwick Associates LLC, through which he accepts expert-witness and advisory engagements with Boustead compliance approval. He also serves as Senior Managing Director and Head of Intellectual Property Banking at Boustead Securities LLC. He has managed more than 200 technology-related financings raising more than $4 billion across technology, media and telecommunications, healthcare, advanced materials, consumer, environmental, and emerging-technology sectors. His transaction experience includes public and private equity financings, IPOs, debt financings, M&A, corporate joint ventures, IP divestitures, spinouts, licensing, and IP-driven company formation. Mr. Conley previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Intellectual Property of Know Labs, Inc., a NYSE-listed medical-device and diagnostics platform company. During his tenure, Know Labs’ patent portfolio expanded from approximately 47 patent assets to more than 300 patent assets, and the company was acquired in August 2025 for $125 million. He is a named inventor on five U.S./PCT patent assets comprising two issued U.S. patents, one published U.S. patent application, and two published PCT applications. These assets address analyte-based access controls, vehicle-interface control, identity-based analyte detection and analysis, and radio/microwave sensing of aerial-vehicle structures. Earlier, as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of ipCreate, Mr. Conley worked on outsourced innovation, patent-quality, and de novo IP-development programs for major global technology and life-sciences companies. At MDB Capital Group, he helped develop IP-driven investment-banking and institutional equity-research platforms integrating patent analytics with capital-markets advisory. As Co-Founder of RDEX Research, he led bibliometric patent-citation and competitive-IP analysis covering approximately 600 public companies; the firm’s research was independently top-ranked on Wall Street for investment performance. His financial media experience regarding intellectual property matters includes appearances on CNN, CNBC and Bloomberg Television; and he has been quoted in Institutional Investor, Pension & Investments, The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Financial Times, Forbes, Business Week, among others. Mr. Conley’s industry experience includes medical devices, digital health, diagnostic imaging, robotics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, advanced materials, wireless sensing, software-enabled technologies, telecommunications, and branded consumer products. His FINRA licenses include Series 7, 24, 63, 72, 79, 86, and 87.
