I am a practicing general dentist and dental practice owner in Minnesota. My clinical background includes general dentistry, implant dentistry, prosthetics, dentures, surgical extractions, bone grafting, oral pathology screening, treatment planning, informed consent, and dental documentation. A large part of my clinical work involves diagnosing, treatment planning, placing and restoring implants, managing restorative and prosthetic complications, performing surgical extractions, grafting, evaluating radiographs, and helping patients understand realistic risks and expectations. I have particular experience with implant complications, denture and implant-retained prosthetic issues, crown and bridge treatment, retained root decision-making, post-operative complications, and documentation around surgical and restorative care. I am a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and have additional training and clinical focus in implant dentistry. I also hold an MPH and CPH certification, which gives me a broader public health and systems-based perspective when reviewing records, treatment decisions, communication, and standards of care. In addition to clinical practice, I do dental quality assurance and clinical case review work, including review of dental cases, documentation, clinical workflows, and SOPs. I am comfortable reviewing complex records and giving clear, practical opinions based on what a reasonable dentist would diagnose, discuss, document, and do in real-world practice. I am available for dental record review, standard-of-care analysis, merit review, case chronology, written reports, deposition preparation, deposition testimony, and trial testimony. My areas of focus include general dentistry standard of care, dental implants, implant complications, prosthetic complications, dentures, crown and bridge, surgical complications, bone grafting, informed consent, documentation, patient communication, treatment planning, oral pathology recognition, and dental public health.
