Dr. Brian G. Wilhelmi is a board-certified anesthesiologist and licensed attorney providing expert witness and consulting services in medical-legal matters involving anesthesia care, perioperative liability, neuroanesthesia, opioid pharmacology and policy, CRNA scope of practice and reimbursement, and emerging questions at the intersection of medicine, law, and artificial intelligence. He practices in the Department of Neuroanesthesiology at Barrow Neurological Institute, internationally recognized as one of the world's leading centers for neurological and neurosurgical care, and serves as Chair of Anesthesiology at CommonSpirit's St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.
