Additional Information

I am a board-certified physician in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of complex pulmonary disease and critically ill patients. I maintain an active clinical practice in South Florida and serve as Director of Interventional Pulmonology at Delray Medical Center. My practice focuses on pulmonary medicine, intensive care medicine, and advanced interventional pulmonary procedures. My clinical work includes the diagnosis and management of lung cancer, pulmonary nodules, COPD, pneumonia, respiratory failure, pleural effusions, pulmonary infections, and other complex pulmonary diseases. I routinely manage critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) and provide care for patients requiring mechanical ventilation, ventilator management, ventilator weaning, and multidisciplinary critical care management. I provide pulmonary consultation in both inpatient and outpatient settings and regularly evaluate patients with complex respiratory conditions, lung nodules, and suspected lung cancer. My practice involves collaboration with thoracic surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and hospitalists in the diagnosis and management of pulmonary disease. I perform a wide range of advanced bronchoscopic and pleural procedures, including robotic navigational bronchoscopy, bronchoscopy with bronchoalveolar lavage, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) for lymph node biopsy and lung cancer staging, thoracentesis, and chest tube placement. My clinical work frequently involves the diagnosis of lung cancer and the evaluation of pulmonary nodules requiring advanced bronchoscopic techniques. My expertise includes the standard of care in pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine, including ICU management, ventilator management, respiratory failure, bronchoscopy, lung nodule evaluation, pulmonary consultation, and hospital-based pulmonary care. I have experience providing medical record review, independent medical examinations (IME), expert opinion, written reports, depositions, and trial testimony in medical malpractice and medical-legal matters. My expert witness work focuses on cases involving pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, ICU management, respiratory failure, ventilator care, bronchoscopy complications, lung cancer diagnosis, and pulmonary standards of care. I maintain an active clinical practice, allowing me to provide opinions grounded in current standards of care and real-world clinical experience. I am available to assist counsel with initial case screening, rapid medical record review, expert reports, independent medical examinations, depositions, and trial testimony in matters involving pulmonary and critical care medicine. I am often able to provide early case assessment to help counsel determine whether the applicable standard of care was met. Attorneys may contact me directly for case screening or record review inquiries.
