I have 28 years of experience as an expert witness for cases involving worker's compensation injuries and personal liability including auto collisions, falls, etc. My medical practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal conditions, nerve and musculoskeletal injuries. Currently, I work with an independent physical medicine and rehabilitation practice in Denver, and independently contract as a specialist for two workman's compensation practices also in Colorado. I also provide physician advisor services to a large workman's compensation insurer. Previously, I worked with a large anesthesia group in Chicago and a nationally ranked orthopedic practice at Rush University Medical Center, also in Chicago. Over the years, I have provided expert witness services for 100's of cases including independent medical evaluations, record reviews, depositions and trials. I have a medical degree from the University of Illinois and completed my residency at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and Northwestern University Medical School. I completed a fellowship in pain medicine at Georgia Pain Physicians in 2001. I also have an MBA from the University of Chicago with years of management consulting experience in hospital and healthcare strategic planning, marketing, and program development. I am board certified in pain medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Currently I am an assistant clinical professor at the University of Colorado and was previously an assistant professor in the departments of orthopedics and physical medicine at Rush University and Rush Medical School in Chicago.
