Caitlyn Anderson, PT, DPT is board-certified in Neurology and Geriatric specialty physical therapy practice and has been a licensed physical therapist for 12 years. She has extensive experience treating patients in both urban and rural emergency room, intensive care unit, inpatient rehabilitation, and acute care environments. Caitlyn has been an invited speaker and provided continuing education on local, regional, and national platforms focusing on rehabilitation and patient management of medically complex populations, emergency room triage and care, differential diagnosis, and the intensive care unit. She has speciality training across critically-ill populations including those that require mechanical circulatory support and mechanical ventilation, as well as in stroke and traumatic brain injury. She currently is core faculty at the University of Utah Doctor of Physical Therapy program with primary teaching responsibilities in the Neuromuscular Management, Cardiovascular/Pulmonary, Neuroanatomy, and Complex Patient curriculum. She consistently is a journal article reviewer for the Archives of Rehabiltiation Research and Clinical Translation and has held leadership roles within the American Physical Therapy Association. Caitlyn is currently a delegate for APTA Utah for the APTA Leadership Congress.
