I have extensive experience in internal medicine and long-term care, serving as staff physician and then medical director of the Rock Creek Manor Nursing Home from 1986-2011, and the Jeanne Jugan Residence from 1982-present. From 2012-2019,I worked with Medstar Physician Group as part of a multi-specialty practice. I also served as the principal investigator for several clinical trials as part of the Medstar Health Research Institute. I continue to work at a nursing home where I am also medical director, and in an internal medicine office 1 day/week, and in Telehealth In addition to my work as a practicing physician, I have over a decade of experience serving as an expert witness in cases regarding internal medicine, nursing homes, long-term care and geriatric care. I have traveled across the country to provide expert testimony in high-profile cases.
