Dr. Davidoff is an experienced Urgent Care Physician licensed in FL and NY and works full-time clinically. She has a BS in Biology from Seton Hall University, and her MD degree from St. Georges University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine and is Board Certified. Prior to Urgent Care, she practiced Emergency Medicine in a high volume, inner city, teaching hospital. previously worked as a contractor for the New York State Department of Health, Office of Professional Medical Conduct, where she reviewed complaints against physicians and physician's assistants to determine if care was appropriate or if misconduct was present. Cases reviewed included urgent care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, and family medicine. She has reviewed multiple malpractice cases for both defendant and plaintiff, and has been deposed many times. She has testified in court several times. Dr. Davidoff has educated and supervised numerous nurse practitioner students, physician assistant students, and graduates. Holding multiple previous academic appointments with various medical, nursing, and physician assistant schools, she is currently Assistant Professor of Family Medicine of the Florida State University School of Medicine, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is on the Board of Directors of the Urgent Care Association, the Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Southeast Regional Urgent Care Association, and a previous Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the College of Urgent Care Medicine. During this time with the College she developed a Fellowship recognition program, participated in educational planning, participated in an antibiotic stewardship program as well as a COVID-19 task force. She is the current editor-in-chief of the College's "Urgent Caring Quarterly" publication, on the editorial board of the Journal of Urgent Care Medicine, and a member of the Clinical Response Committee. She is currently working with colleagues to advance the specialty of Urgent Care Medicine by developing a ACGME approved fellowship in Urgent Care Medicine, a Board Exam in Urgent Care Medicine, and recognition by the AMA of Urgent Care as an independent specialty of medicine. She has lectured extensively on many basic and advanced urgent care topics at national and local urgent care conventions, and has published numerous review articles and case reports in the "Journal of Urgent Care Medicine". Dr. Davidoff recently added editor-in-chief of the publication "Evidence Based Urgent Care" to her many non-clinical roles.
