Anthony Corrado is Founder and Principal of NYC Site Safety Services, LLC, a safety consulting firm in New York City that provides NYC contractors with Site Safety Plan Development, OSHA Training and on-site Licensed Safety Professionals who oversee safety on large scale construction projects as regulated by the NYC Department of Buildings. Anthony has had a long successful and diversified career in the NYC construction industry spanning almost 40 years. Starting at a young age as a Union Carpenter apprentice and working his way up to becoming a carpenter foreman in his early twenties, Anthony has continued his education and became a superintendent working on interior renovations in hi-rise buildings throughout NYC. He continued to progress and was continuously given larger projects and more responsibilities. Anthony rose through the ranks becoming a Senior Project Superintendent for a top 10 Construction Management company in the US and successfully managed projects up to $150 Million. Anthony has been directly responsible for Pre-construction planning, site logistics, scheduling, safety oversight and has coordinated and supervised every major trade in the industry. PAST CASES INCLUDE: • Suspended scaffolding swayed by wind injuring workers • Articulating concrete boom truck tipped over injuring a worker • Motorized powered buggy tipped over injuring worker • Supported scaffold- Missing toe boards worker misstepped and was injured • Hearing Loss due to sustained noise levels above OSHA limits • Fall from ladder • Worker injured in articulating bucket truck • Workers fell through unmarked and unguarded holes/shafts • Forklift injury at a public warehouse-type store • Trip and fall on construction site • Fall from baker scaffold
