He is the former corporate head of Safety and Industrial Hygiene for the electric utility ComEd (18,000 employees).
He has consulted (since 1990) with over 400 clients. Business sectors include: manufacturing, construction, utilities, food production, metals production and processing, hospitals, waste management, recycling, landfills, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, plastics, universities, and local governmental agencies.
Dr. Hogan is a tenured Associate Professor at Northern Illinois University. His consulting work is separate from his Northern Illinois University employment.
