After obtaining a Medical Degree and Masters in Public Health from Ohio State University in 2011, completed general surgery training at East Carolina University (2017), and vascular surgery training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center (2019). Board certifications achieved in both general and vascular surgery. Inducted as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) in 2023. Work experience in an academic setting for several years before transitioning to community practice. Remain active in education with teaching responsibilities at a general surgery. Currently work across the spectrum of vascular surgery including open and endovascular interventions for arterial and venous disease. Outside of direct patient care, also serve as a speaker/consultant for a device company and provide independent peer review for medical cases brought to the medical board.
