I am a Practitioner-Scholar specializing in the forensic audit of institutional patterns and practices across the criminal justice spectrum. My expertise focuses on evaluating the data integrity and procedural compliance of public safety agencies, correctional facilities, and oversight bodies.
By leveraging a tiered methodological approach—ranging from descriptive statistics and Cross-Tabulations to advanced Logistic and Multinomial Regression—I identify systemic deviations within internal records management systems (RMS), Inmate Management Systems (IMS), and NIBRS reporting. I translate complex quantitative findings and longitudinal trends into clear, defensible narratives for use by legal counsel, public defenders, and independent monitoring boards in civil and criminal litigation.
Fee schedule available upon request. Standard hourly rates apply for review, deposition, and trial testimony.

Before starting my DPS career, I worked for five years with the Walker County Sheriff’s Office in Huntsville, Texas, as a commissioned correctional officer, jail shift supervisor, and commissioned patrol deputy.
From 1990 to 1992, I served as a Jailer in the Walker County Sheriff’s Office Jail Division in Huntsville, Texas. After becoming commissioned as a peace officer and starting my time as a patrol deputy, I maintained my Jailer commission and assisted in the jail when needed until I resigned in 1995 to attend the DPS academy. In that role, I was responsible for the direct supervision, care, and safety of inmates housed in the facili...
