I practiced orthopedic surgery for almost 33 years. I retired from active practice of orthopedic surgery on March 31st, 2025. My practice was at the Orthopedic Center of Illinois in Springfield IL. The focus of my practice was sports medicine as well as general orthopedics. I am board certified in orthopedic surgery and remain so at this time. I also obtained subspecialty certification in orthopedic sports medicine. I also have an active license in the state of Illinois. I am a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons as well as previously a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine as well as the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
I attended the University of Illinois for Medical School. I completed my orthopedic surgery residency at Southern Illinois School of Medicine. I did a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
