Michael Donnino, MD trained in internal medicine, emergency medicine, and critical care resulting in board certification in all three areas. He is currently attending physician of emergency medicine and critical care at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (Boston, MA) and Professor of Emergency Medicine and Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He is a well-established expert and known internationally in emergency and critical care having published over 300 manuscripts in this area and leading two large research groups. He has been the senior author on the American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) guidelines as well as first or senior author on a variety of position papers. Dr. Donnino holds an active medical license in over 20+ states owing to telemedical work. He has served as an expert witness for a variety of hospital-based cases over the past 7-8 years. Dr. Holliday is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with 20 years of professional experience, including more than 17 years providing clinical nutrition leadership within the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), the largest correctional system in the United States. His expertise is heavily centered in clinical nutrition care, medical nutrition therapy, health care systems, food service operations, and standards of care in dietetic practice. He served as a clinical dietitian from 2007–2009 and currently serves as the Acting Chief Clinical Dietitian for the BOP, overseeing and advising on complex clinical nutrition matters across the federal correctional system. Since 2013, he has also served as Chief of Nutrition and Dietetics for the BOP.
