Dr. Michael Wallerich is a residency-trained neuro-optometrist in brain injury vision rehabilitation/neuro-optometry from the Palo Alto VA Healthcare Center. He worked in inpatient and outpatient settings and saw patients at their bedside — uncommon for optometrists. Since 2017, Dr. Wallerich has evaluated thousands of patients with mild, moderate, and severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries involving motor vehicle accidents, assaults, work-related injuries, plane crashes, railroad accidents, defective products, and many other mechanisms of injury. He has served as an expert witness and medical-legal narrator for 100+ patients.
