Dr. Neidich attended medical school at the University of California, San Francisco and obtained his advanced GI/MIS/Bariatrics Fellowship at the Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. He has expertise in full spectrum wound care and maintains an active wound care practice at the El Camino Wound Care Center. He has experience reviewing a wide range of cases including facility acquired pressure injuries, wound management and post-acute care infection and wound protocols and best practices. He has a comprehensive bariatric surgery practice, including robotic gastric sleeve, bypass, revisions and band removal. Additionally, his practice incorporates robotic hernia, foregut and general surgery procedures.

Michael Barker, MD, FACS, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified general surgeon who specializes in Bariatric and Laparoscopic Surgery. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and SUNY Brooklyn College of Medicine, and also completed a Fellowship in Bariatric & Minimally Invasive Surgery at East Carolina University. Dr. Barker spent 16 years on Active Duty in the Navy, where he made multiple overseas deployments and was Director of the largest Bariatric Surgery program within the Department of Defense. He continues to serve in executive and leadership positions in the Navy Reserve, including as Advisor to the Surgeon General of the Navy regarding General Surgery. Dr. Barker is currently the Medical Director of the Central Virginia VA Healthcare System Bariatric Surgery Program and Director of the Operating Room at McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond, VA.
