I am Dr. Mona L. Camacci, MD, MSc, a Board-Certified ophthalmologist specializing in retinal, macular, and vitreous diseases. I practice in Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, and Beaufort, South Carolina, with Retina Consultants of Charleston. I graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with dual majors in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Health and Human Rights. As a George J. Mitchell scholar, I earned an MS in Equality Studies from University College Dublin. I completed my medical training at Penn State College of Medicine as a Paul and Daisy Soros fellow, followed by an Ophthalmology residency at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at the University of Rochester.
