After high school I attended Abbot Hospital nursing school and received an RN diploma. I then worked in Critical Care at Mayo Clinic. I graduated from Mayo’s pediatric nurse practitioner program then worked in that field and critical care while attending Augsburg College to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in nursing Summa cum laude. I then practiced in critical care while attending law school. After graduating Magna Cum Lau. I practiced with a mid size firm for 30 years trying multiple medical malpractice cases. I also tried several defense cases mainly involving auto accidents. When I retired from law practice I decided to pursue a career which allowed me to use both my nursing and law experience.
