Dr. Gendelman went on to complete his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY. During his time in Brooklyn, NY he served as a team physician of Sheepshead Bay High School Varsity and Junior Varsity Football Teams. During his residency he completed rotations through six different New York area hospitals including Brooklyn VA Hospital as well as Kings County Hospital which provides Level 1 trauma care to the surrounding community.
