I have been in practice for 25 years. I am an assistant professor at Johns Hopkins University and I am board certified in general surgery and critical care. I have held many administrative positions which involved review of medical care. These include chief of surgery, trauma medical director, medical director of ambulatory surgery center, medical director and founder of a breast cancer center as well as educator of residents and students. I have had a broad experience in my career including both academic and private practices and levels 1, 2 and 3 trauma centers. I have maintained a broad range of skills. My career has included vascular, thoracic, oncologic, advanced laparoscopic and open procedures.
