I have been practicing the specialty of periodontics for the past 47 years.I have had a private surgical periodontal practice for 36 years and have been on faculty as a clinical periodontist at UCSF Dental School since 1978. I am currently a full professor at UCSF Dental School and have been teaching exclusively dental students as well continuing education for dentists and hygienists. I have lectured extensively nationally and internationally on the topic of periodontitis/ peri-implantitis for the past 38 years ( see attached CV).
