Additional Information

I am a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction and extensive clinical experience in primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty. My practice has focused on joint replacement surgery for more than seven years, and I have served as Medical Director of Total Joint Programs at multiple hospitals, where I developed standardized surgical pathways, perioperative protocols, and data-driven quality initiatives aimed at improving safety and outcomes. My leadership experience includes serving as Chair of Orthopedic Surgery at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital and leading the orthopedic service line for IU Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine–Muncie. I have been actively involved in system and hospital committees focused on peer review, perioperative governance, opioid stewardship, credentialing, and strategic orthopedic program development. These roles have given me deep experience with standards of care, clinical compliance, patient safety, and surgical quality assurance. I completed my orthopedic residency at the University of Arizona and my Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at Indiana University. I hold an MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. I provide expert witness services including objective case review, medical-legal analysis, written opinions, deposition, and testimony. My expertise centers on hip and knee replacement standards of care, surgical decision-making, complications, implant selection, perioperative protocols, and outcomes. I emphasize clear, evidence-based evaluations and draw on my clinical, administrative, and program leadership experience to provide attorneys with thorough, defensible orthopedic insight.
