I am board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology as well as cytopathology. I trained at the University of Iowa for four years of residency and two years of fellowships (cytopathology and general surgical pathology). The University of Iowa is well known in the pathology world for having an extremely robust pathology training program with an emphasis on education and practical experience. I have extensive experience in general surgical pathology, having worked for over ten years in two large community hospitals with busy oncology services in Utah and the greater Chicago area. I have subspecialty focus in the areas of gynecologic, breast, soft tissue, and head and neck pathology but am skilled in all areas of surgical pathology.
I am comfortable with medico-legal expert witness work and value integrity, efficiency, and professionalism. I am competent and confident in my abilities as a surgical pathologist. I am a team player and am hard-working and flexible.
