Dr. Chigozirim "Chigo" Ekeke is a board-certified thoracic surgeon and Assistant Professor of Thoracic Surgery at the University of Michigan, where he also serves as Surgical Director of the Michigan Surgical Health & Optimization Program (MSHOP), the institution's perioperative optimization and prehabilitation program.
Dr. Ekeke maintains a high-volume robotic thoracic surgical practice with particular expertise in esophageal surgery, lung cancer resection, chest wall reconstruction, and minimally invasive techniques. He is among the highest-volume chest wall surgeons in the state of Michigan.
