Dr. Jarvis has been holding leadership positions in addiction medicine for decades, in clinical, academic and policy positions. She has led clinical teams at ASAM levels 3.7 (medically managed inpatient) and 1.7 (medically managed outpatient). She has designed clinical programs and overseen their implementation and maintenance. The programs she has designed and worked with include both medication management and counseling therapies. She has taught at all levels of medical education, helping to start an addiction medicine fellowship program that was in the first groups to receive accreditation from the American Board of Addiction Medicine and the American College of Graduate Medical Education.
