Dr. Lehrer received his D.M.D. degree from the University of Florida in 1984, and after associating as an associate in private dental practices, established a partnership in a dental practice in 1988. As a Member of the Academy of Sports Dentistry and a former college athlete, Dr. Lehrer philanthropically involved himself in the community by providing oral cancer screenings and fabricating protective mouth guards for all of the Nova Southeastern University athletes. Dr. Lehrer has been an Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine since January 2002 in the departments of Cariology/Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery and a member of the American Dental Education Association.
