Patrick Holert, CFA, CAIA, ERP, CIRA has testified in multiple cases involving cryptocurrencies and operating data centers for mining cryptocurrencies. He brings over 30 years of professional experience in digital assets, investment research, private equity and consulting.
Mr. Holert has served in executive roles for two of the largest companies in cryptocurrencies mining. Over 2025 to 2026, he was Chief Executive Officer of Ecohash LLC, a fully owned subsidiary of Cango Inc (NYSE: CANG), which operates one of the largest fleets globally of Bitcoin mining rigs. During 2021 to 2023, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Celsius Mining LLC (now Ionic Digital), where he managed a fleet of more than 120,000 Bitcoin mining rigs; negotiated multiple vendor, contractor, hosting and leasing agreements; and coordinated development of 87MW of mining sites in Texas. His experience at Celsius Mining includes supporting the company through a Chapter 11 restructuring.
