Dr. Arts has over 29 years of experience in clinical and academic practice of Otology and Neurotology, with special expertise in acoustic neuroma, cranial base surgery, cochlear implants, chronic ear surgery, stapedectomy surgery, facial paralysis, Meniere's disease, balance disorders, and all forms of hearing loss. He has been active in research involving cochlear implants and other implantable hearing devices, inner ear physiology and pathology. He is on the Editorial Board of the journal Otology & Neurotology and is a member of the American Otological Society and the American Neurotology Society.
