Dr. Jared Griffard is a double board-certified general surgeon and surgical critical care intensivist who is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV. With extensive fellowship training in both Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery from the Yale School of Medicine, he has expertise in the management of complex trauma, emergency general surgery, and intensive care. Dr. Griffard is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, an active member of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma (EAST), and an active member of the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST), where he contributes to the Palliative Care committee.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Griffard is a leader in medical education, currently serving as the Associate Program Director for the Surgical Critical Care Fellowship year at UNLV.
