I bring a broad and well‑rounded background in medical review and evaluation. My foundation in this work began during my military service, where I served as a consultant to the Surgeon General of the United States Air Force, assessing standards of care in malpractice cases involving the Department of Defense. Today, my consulting practice spans three key areas: independent dispute resolution for physician coding accuracy, Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs), and expert witness testimony. Clinically, I focus on acute care general surgery and medical student education, and I also serve as a certified ringside physician for both amateur and professional unarmed combat events while continuing my commitment to military reserve duty. I am board‑certified in Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and a fellow in good standing with the American College of Surgeons.
