Dr. Hamlet Garabedian is a Harvard educated board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a Fellow of American College of Surgeons. He attended dental school at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts from where he graduated with the highest academic honors in 1999. He then went on to attend medical school at UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California. His Oral Surgery training was completed at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. He was formerly the Chief of Dentistry at Memorial City Hospital in Houston, Texas. He is currently in private practice and has been involved in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 1989. This is inclusive of head and neck trauma , orthognathic surgery, dentoalveolar infections, bone grafting and jaw reconstruction, complex dental implant surgery, wisdom tooth removal, and out patient anesthesia. Dr. Hart is a Seattle native, and after completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Washington in 1983 he attended Georgetown University School of dentistry, graduating Cum Laude in 1987. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Harbour UCLA Medical Center in 1993. Dr. Hart has been in practice for over 34 years, spending 26 of those years in private practice in the greater Seattle area, practicing the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. In addition, he has been an Affiliate professor at both Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He continues to practice part time and participates in volunteer missions around the world with the Global Dental Relief Foundation.
