Dr. Bennett has over 25 years of clinical experience and is a board-certified general surgeon trained at the University of Chicago, and a fellowship trained surgical oncologist from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Society of Surgical Oncology. Dr. Bennett is the System Chair of Surgery for LifeBridge Health, a large, academic, multi-hospital, healthcare system in Baltimore, Maryland. He maintains an active clinical practice in surgical oncology and is part of core teaching faculty. He was prior Division Chief of surgical oncology at a large academic hospital and was director of the hepatobiliary-pancreas multidisciplinary team, and the gastric, melanoma and sarcoma multidisciplinary team. I am an advanced endoscopist with 9 years of experience at an academic, tertiary care hospital in Chicago. Following my residency in medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology, I completed an additional year of advanced endoscopy training. I currently hold the position of Associate Professor of Medicine and serve as the Director of Advanced Endoscopy services within the health system, in addition to being the Program Director for the Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship.
