Mr. Strang has a very strong background in electrical construction from his work as an electrical contractor, prior to becoming a professional engineer. He has designed power distribution, lighting, control systems, fire alarm and security systems for utility, industrial, commercial, and pharmaceutical clients. Mr. Strang’s specialty is power systems analysis and the engineering of medium and high voltage distribution systems and substations. He has lectured at several conferences and is an expert in the field of short-circuit analysis, overcurrent protective device coordination studies, and arc-flash calculations.
